The Elasticated Abdominal Binder is made of a
soft material, consisting of a combination of multi-panel cotton/rayon lined knit elastic joined with strong nylon thread and nylon brush/cotton laminate.
It is light-weight, and wider than most of our other lumbar belts.
The binder offers
gentle all-round support to the lumbar region and abdomen areas, while also
allowing good ventilation. It is
intended for use mainly to provide support in and around the home. It will
help in maintaining posture, thereby reducing back-ache when sitting, standing,
and also when undertaking light manual tasks such as hoovering.
For more substantial activities such as gardening
we would advise you to look at our lumbar belts that offer a higher level of
support.
